The ETPHD method has helped 1000s of people improve their health and relationship with food and their bodies.  This specific approach combines some of the key principles of intuitive eating and healthful nutrition with person centred therapeutic techniques to offer values-led nutritional and training programming. This process may or may not include macro tracking and/or intentional fat loss/weight gain.

Through habit development, process-based goals and structured homework in the areas of hunger and fullness regulation, self-compassion, mindfulness and positive psychology, the ETPHD method supports individuals to reduce food and body preoccupation, reduce emotional eating and improve body image, whilst also gaining new insight into nutrition fundamentals to support health. The ETPHD method will also support body composition goals where applicable, with all coaches well-versed in fat loss.

The Cognitive & Acceptance-based Modified Intuitive Eating (CAMIE) method

Through a combination of the available evidence in intuitive eating, diet success and therapeutic models, with years of coaching, Emilia developed the concept of Cognitive and Acceptance based Modified Intuitive Eating (CAMIE), a structured nutritional intervention designed to support relationships with food away from macro tracking, without the constraints of an anti-diet approach. CAMIE offers a framework that supports a more intuitive approach to relationships with food, without sacrificing individual values and goals. It is included, where appropriate, within the coaching provided by The ETPHD method. This has supported 1000s of people to remove engrained food rules and tracking (tracking is also a tool used within the ETPHD method where appropriate).

The CAMIE approach to intuitive nutrition can also be provided as training to individual personal trainers, coaches and training providers.
