Peanut butter chocolate chip no bake protein balls

An easy snack that requires no baking or cooking. These can be stored in the fridge for a week (if you can make them last that long) and provide a quick go-to choice if you're looking for a sweet hit that contains some good quality protein.

  1. 1 scoop Optimum Nutrition Oats and Whey Vanilla Bean
  2. 2 scoops Optimum Nutrition Casein Vanilla
  3. 1 scoop Optimum Nutrition Casein Chocolate
  4. 3 tbsp Peanut butter
  5. 2 tbsp Honey
  6. 2 tbsp Coconut oil
  7. 12 squares 85% dark chocolate (6 to make in to chunks, 6 for the topping)
  8. Water (as needed)
  1. Add oats and whey, protein, peanut butter and honey in to a bowl and mix well
  2. Melt the coconut oil and add to the bowl
  3. Add water 1 tbsp at a time to get a sticky consistency
  4. Add 6 squares of dark chocolate that have been broken up in to small chocolate chips
  5. Mix all ingredients together
  6. Roll 1 tbsp of mixture together in your hands to make a ball
  7. Repeat with all mixture
  8. Melt 6 squares of dark chocolate slowly in the microwave (be careful not to burn it)
  9. Using a teaspoon, drizzle the chocolate over the balls
  10. Leave to set in the fridge so the coconut oil and chocolate go hard
  11. Serve fresh out of the fridge.
  1. All ingredients are rough amounts
  2. Add water slowly whilst mixing
  3. You are aiming for a mixture that holds together when you roll it in to a ball
  4. You could try different flavours of protein, or try adding different extra ingredients (nuts, raisins)
